Winter 2012 Leaflet (PDF) — The 2012 Leaflet is here! In this issue, we explore the People Make Parks website, which gives communities the tools they need to get involved in the design of their parks.

Capacity Fund Grant — The Capacity Fund makes grants to community groups working in NYC parks to strengthen groups’ outreach, membership, and program–planning capacity. Grants range from $250 to $5,000.

Fall It’s My Park Day — On Saturday, October 15, 2011, over 5,000 New Yorkers cared for and celebrated New York City parks. See photos and highlights from projects around the city.

People Make Parks — The People Make Parks Web site has launched! People Make Parks is a project of Hester Street Collaborative and Partnerships for Parks to help New Yorkers participate in the design of their parks. Access tools and resources at: PeopleMakeParks.org.
