RED HOOK PARKS & RECREATION

Red Hook, located in Northwest Brooklyn, includes 70 acres of parkland. The Red Hook Catalyst Project, convenes local groups to develop a vision for the community's open space and transform the Red Hook Recreation Center, surrounding waterfront, and parks into a vibrant center for community activity. Goals for Red Hook's parks and recreation:

• To increase awareness, use, and improvements in Red Hook's Parks and Recreation Center
• To support local involvement and leadership.
• To build sustainable coalitions among groups working in parks.
